Coronary Angiography & Angioplasty Advanced interventional cardiac procedures
Minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for coronary artery disease — including coronary angiography, complex angioplasty, stenting, and intravascular imaging-guided interventions.
What is Coronary Angiography?
Coronary angiography is a minimally invasive diagnostic procedure that uses X-ray imaging and contrast dye to visualise the coronary arteries. It helps detect blockages, narrowings, or abnormalities that may be causing chest pain, shortness of breath, or other cardiac symptoms.
Complex Coronary Angioplasty
When blockages are found, angioplasty (percutaneous coronary intervention) can open narrowed arteries using a balloon catheter. Dr. Bhaskar specialises in complex cases — including multi-vessel disease, calcified lesions, and high-risk patients — using intravascular imaging for superior outcomes.
Key Highlights
- Minimally invasive — no open surgery
- Same-day or overnight procedure
- Intravascular imaging-guided precision
